Self-taught.

Completed middle school graduation from N.C.Koch's school in Aarhus 1961. Joined Master Teaching as a blacksmith and machine worker in 1962 and finished at the machine factory in 1965. Had various jobs until 1968, but all the time with the painting side by side.

The interest in painting and art of painting, I got from artist John Sparre Christensen in 1960, who gave me the first Artistic and Technical guidance. Started painting in earnest in 1968, but the idea had been there for several years.

Began as a Landscape Painter, and very soon after, as an Abstract Painter. Over the years, it has resulted in Abstract and Abstract / Surrealist Art as well as classic Surrealism, which unfolds in a Fabulous, and Distorted narrative, which can be quite enigmatic.

Moved to Gothenburg, Sweden in 1969, collaborating with other Artists such as K.G.H. Köllisch, who had studied in Berlin 1929 - 1933, as well as Eric Norman Nordstrøm, who had studied at Worcester City Artschool, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Later came Bant Nandra, India who had studied at the London Academy of Arts. Out of this collaboration, an Artist Group was established, which was dissolved in 1978. Eric Norman and I were on several study trips together.

During a studio stay in Cannes in 1969, Atelier shared with French painter Joel Poulain, for a short period. The collaboration continued for a short period 1977 in Aarhus.

Contract with Keld Nilsson, Varberg, Sweden, on sales and on exhibitions in Warsaw, Paris and Madrid 1970.

A collaboration with Architect and painter Poul Anders, Aarslev, Denmark in 1971, who had just returned to Denmark, from the U.S.A., created an even greater insight into the painter's techniques and colors.

living for a time in Ljungstorp and Långås in Halland, Sweden. Moves in 1973 to the Summer House in Rönnäng, on the island of Tjörn, where the Summer exhibition is held until 1975. Partial work is done in the Summer House in Tjörn and together with Köllisch, Eric Norman and Bant Nandra in the Atelieret on Rambergsvägen and New Björlandavägen in Gothenburg.

Moves back to Denmark in 1977, where a studio and gallery is set up in Fredensgade, Aarhus, where works are in Sculptures, but also in Oil paintings, until 1980. Moves 1980 the studio to Viby J, where most works in Sculptures, but also in Oil paintings, until 1999.

Works in winter 1997 - 1998 and 1998 - 1999 with oil paintings in Gran Canaria, Spain. Furnishes Gallery and Atelier in the summer residence in Thy in 2000, with the aim of having both an Atelier and a Gallery in the same place where permanent exhibitions can be exhibited.

Has exhibited in several European cities, and has sold to many Art Associations and Art Clubs, as well as to some private collections.

Has since 1989 also had a Registered Painting Company, where work has been done on Building paint, Decoration paint of cars, as well as wall decorations which has been the preferred work area.
